Here is something different on this
jazz site.
It is
difficult to label the Bottom Line Duo. Is it jazz? Is
it classical? Is it Folk? Is it World Music? Hopefully
the duo is best described as a contemporary ensemble
performing great music in an authentic and
musicologically accurate manner. In laymen's terms? The
Bottom Line Duo's repertoire will entertain and
satisfy all those of the species that breath air.
A hallmark of their performances is their
professionalism and humor. Surprises abound in their work.
Spencer Hoveskeland, a superb and highly regarded
jazz bassist, also is a regular member of a Tango Band,
and a Klezmer group, and is a guitarist too.
Traci Hoveskeland is a first call free-lance
cellist in the Pacific Northwest. She performs with
various chamber ensembles and orchestras. Her experience
as a soloist with the Bottom Line Duo has made her a
much sought after recording and performing artist.
